Nintendo will no longer produce 3 colors of the Switch Joy-Con

According to JapaneseNintendo, Nintendo is going to end the production of 3 colors of the switch Joy-con.

This has been known through a recent notification from Nintendo. However, it should be noted that the three colors can still be selected in the “Personalize Nintendo Switch” section of the Japanese My Nintendo Store online and therefore can be purchased individually, at least for now. For this reason, it is not clear if only the above Joy-Con sets will be discontinued or if the Joy-Con will be sold individually from now on through this online store and perhaps other platforms.

Joy-cons can be used while attached to the main Nintendo Switch console unit, or detached and used wirelessly; when detached, a pair of Joy-Con can be used by a single player, or divided between two as individual controllers.
