No Man’s Sky Files Include PlayStation 5 Pro Codename

After the release of a major Worlds Part 1 update of No Man’s Sky, Data miner ThatBomberBoi discovered a graphics preset for a device codenamed Trinity, the same name as the PS5 Pro console, in the No Man’s Sky files.

The PS5 Pro/Trinity graphics preset currently differs from the regular PS5 in the dynamic resolution and water detail quality. The console’s mention in the No Man’s Sky files indicates that Hello Games (developers of No Man’s Sky) has begun preparing for the release of PlayStation 5 Pro. Moreover, No Man’s Sky is the first game to mention the console’s codename in its files.

However, there aren’t any confirmations regarding the actual release date for Sony’s improved PlayStation 5 console, but journalists have reported in the past regarding the release of PS5 Pro in November 2024.
