No Man’s Sky’s latest update brought a completely new look to the game with improved visuals and atmospheric systems changing the feeling of all the planets. Moreover, several new Helmets have also been added that players can unlock to customize the character’s appearance.

This guide will help you unlock all the new helmets in No Man’s Sky.

All New Helmets in No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky Worlds Part 1 update brings four new Helmets for the players to unlock. These helmets are for customizing a player’s character to give them a new unique look. All four new Helmets in No Man’s Sky are as follows.

  • Brooding Skull
  • The Hunter’s Jaws
  • Bioluminescent Headpiece
  • Brood Mother’s Maw

How to Unlock the New Helmets in No Man’s Sky

Unlocking all four new helmets will require players to defeat a new boss encounter against a new creature called Brood Mother. Brood Mother is a rare creature and can only be encountered by spawning it. To spawn the Brood Mother, follow these simple steps.

  • Find a planet with Vile Brood detection.
  • Land on the planet and pick up a Juicy Grub.
  • Crush the Juicy Grub from your inventory to spawn Brood Mother.

NOTE: Read our complete guide on how to find Vile Brood and start the encounter with Brood Mother for more information.

Upon encountering Brood Mother, defeat her to have a chance of getting a new Helmet. However, the drop rate of the helmets is not guaranteed. It is best to grab as many Juicy Grubs to initiate the encounter repeatedly and unlock the helmets easily.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
