Palia: Gold Farming Guide

Gold is crucial in Palia, as it is used to purchase all important recipes, materials, seeds, furniture, and much more. Earning Gold in the early game is very important, as it will allow you to progress further in the game easily. There are various ways to earn Gold in Palia, but we will be sharing the best methods currently available in the game to farm as much Gold as possible in less time.

If you are looking for the best methods to farm Gold, then you are in the right place. We will explain how to farm Gold in Palia.

Best Methods to Farm Gold in Palia

The best methods to farm Gold in Palia involve Hunting and Cooking. Both of these activities can help you earn a lot of Gold in a short amount of time if you hunt at the right times and cook specific recipes. Before we delve into the methods, there is one thing you need to unlock for your Bow: Standard Arrows. Standard Arrows are an improved version of Makeshift Arrows and deal double the damage. For example, it takes two shots with Makeshift Arrows to take down a Sernuk, whereas a Standard Arrow can do it in just one shot. You can unlock the Standard Arrows at Level 2 of the Hunting Guild and purchase the recipe from Hassian.

Hunting Method for Farming Gold

For the hunting method, ensure you craft as many Standard Arrows as possible, as you’ll be exclusively hunting Sernuk during Dawn or Dusk. During these times, the spawn rate of animals doubles, making it easier to find more Sernuk in areas like Windy Falls, Proudhon Falls, and Flooded Steps. Follow these steps to farm Gold:

  • Begin at Windy Falls and shoot down every Sernuk you spot.
  • Collect the loot after clearing out the animals in the area.
  • Search the area for more Sernuks; if you find them, hunt them for loot.
  • Move on to the Proudhorn Falls area and repeat the hunting and looting process.
  • Repeat the same process in the Flooded Steps area.
  • After clearing all three areas, exit the server and restart the game to get a new server with a fresh animal spawn.
  • Repeat the entire process until your inventory is full.

After gathering all the loot from hunting Sernuk, you’ll have Meat, Hide, and Antlers. Sell all of these items in the Shipping Bin outside your plot area. The selling price can range from 1,000 to 3,000 Gold, depending on your inventory size and the amount of loot you’ve gathered.

Cooking Method for Farming Gold

For the Cooking Method, you need to gather exquisite ingredients that are quite common but are not commonly used in cooking. You’ll need to collect Emerald Carpet Moss and Crystal Lake Lotus. Emerald Carpet Moss is used for crafting new carpets, while Crystal Lake Lotus is used for making dyes. These materials can be found along the southeastern to southwestern part of the map, near the coastline.

Visit the coastline during nighttime to easily spot the glowing effect on both materials. Another requirement for this method is the recipe itself: Fisherman’s Brew. Unlock it at Level 5 of the Fishing Guild for 1,000 Gold. Although this is a mid-game farming method, you can earn money from hunting and level up the fishing guild to acquire the recipe early in the game.

Once you have the recipe, follow these steps to farm Gold through Cooking:

  • Begin at the southeast side of the map and gather Emerald Carpet Moss and Crystal Lake Lotus.
  • Move to the southwest area of the map. Once you’ve collected all the materials, exit the server and restart the game.
  • Log into a new server and repeat the process. Continue until you’ve gathered hundreds of these materials or maxed out your inventory.

After obtaining the materials, go to your plot area and interact with the Campfire. Select the Fisherman’s Brew recipe and cook it. Cooking the recipe takes 5 seconds and yields 5x Fisherman’s Brew. Each Fisherman’s Brew sells for 19 Gold, but when you sell 5 Fisherman’s Brews together, you earn 95 Gold. Keep cooking the recipe until you’ve used up your ingredients, and note that you’ll also obtain higher quality Fisherman’s Brews during the process, which has a higher selling price.

Once you’ve cooked all the Fisherman Brews or filled your inventory, head to the Shipping Bin and sell them. This can easily yield 7,000+ Gold. You can repeat this process whenever you have free time or need Gold to accumulate a substantial amount in a short period.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
