Palia: Where to Find the Garden Mantis

The Garden Mantis is one of the rare bugs in Palia required for the Spooky Bundle at the Shrine in the ruins. The Spooky Bundle necessitates four rare bugs and fish that players must collect and contribute to the bundle to complete it. Where to Find the Garden Mantis in Palia

The Garden Mantis can be found at the following two locations in the evening:

• South of the Mayor’s Estate
• Near Fisherman’s Lagoon

Both of these locations are in Kimila Village, and players will need the Belt Tool to catch the Garden Mantis. Get the Belt tool from Auni by talking to him and make some Standard Smoke Bombs to catch the Garden Mantis. Once you have the equipment for catching the Garden Mantis, go to the open field near Fisherman’s Lagoon or to the coastline south of the Mayor’s Estate to find the Garden Mantis.

Look for the bug that jumps around and then approach it to confirm whether it is a Garden Mantis or not. Once you have your eyes on the mantis, you need to equip the Belt and throw a Smoke Bomb at it to render it unconscious. It will take about 3 – 4 Standard Smoke Bombs to render the Garden Mantis unconscious.

Once it is unconscious, go near it to pick it up, and you can contribute it to the Spooky Bundle by going to the shrine in the ruins near Hekla’s tent.
