Vampire Crab is one of the rare insects in Palia that is required for the Spooky Bundle at the Shrine in the ruins. The Spooky Bundle requires four rare insects and fish that players have to collect and contribute to the bundle to complete it. Where to Find Vampire Crab in Palia

Vampire Crab can be found at the Flooded Fortress area located in the Bahari Bay map zone. It only spawns from the evening time to the nighttime. The exact spawn time of Vampire Crab is from 6 pm to 3 am. As the Vampire Crabs are rare and the spawn rate of them is low, you will have to explore the beaches around the Flooded Fortress to find one. The Flooded Fortress also has a spawn rate of Bahari Crabs which are the normal crabs but Vampire Crabs are easy to recognize as they are bigger and faster than Bahair Crabs.

How to Catch Vampire Crab

To catch the Vampire Crab, you need to make sure that your Belt is upgraded to at least the Standard version as it will increase the chances of your catching the Vampire Crab. The next thing that you need is the Sticky Smoke Bombs. The Standard Smoke Bombs are also effective but the Vampire Crab does not go unconscious from 1 smoke bomb and they run very fast. It is easy to lose track of them and they can burrow themselves quickly into the ground after the encounter.

It is best to use the Sticky Smoke Bombs on Vampire Crab as they will make it slow and you can easily throw bombs on it until it gets unconscious. Once the Vampire Crab is Unconscious, go near it and press the F Button to pick it up.

Catching the Vampire Crab insect also has a chance of dropping the Silk Thread.
