Within the long and entertaining interview, Phil Spencer commented on this topic: “The Switch was a gift from Nintendo. Doug Bowser and the team are obviously on top of us, we’re both in Redmond, Washington, and it was a gift from them. I have another one that I use to play at home, but that was one they gave me early on when it was released. So that’s what it’s all about. ” With these words, it became more than clear why the console, obviously, as a tribute to the company that Spencer admires so much.
