Chapter 4: Secrets in the Dark – Walkthrough

At the start of the chapter, you will fall down from a wooden platform and into a dark area. You need to go to the right side and you will reach a crystal plant. When you stand on the plant, it will light up the area. Order Mui to sit on the plant to reveal the area ahead and make your way ahead. Call Mui back to you when you reach the second plant and order it to sit on the plant. There is a rope just before the second plant that you can jump to catch and if you go up the rope, you will get a shrine (collectible).

Continue on the right side and keep ordering Mui to sit on the plants to light up the area for you to progress ahead on the path. As you go ahead, you will encounter a new type of creature. You need to order Mui to go inside the hole to light up the area but you have to bait the creature to come to the left side. Hang on the rope to bait the creature and then order Mui to go into the hole. The creature will get stuck to the left side as it cannot pass through the light. Make your way ahead on the path and you will reach a giant door.

Order Mui to go up on the handle and then press the Y Button to open the door. Go inside the door and you will begin to see a number of patterns on the wall. Keep going until you see a large scale of patterns on the wall. The pattern will have a number of symbols and dots that you need to keep in mind because they are going to help you solve the puzzle.

You will see a giant mechanism in the middle that will open the door if you set all of the blocks in the right position. Before you go to the structure, go directly up the area you came out of and you will find a plant. Light up the plant to get a clue of one of the blocks and then you can go to the structure. You need to set the blocks in the following order.

• Bottom Right Block > 2 Dots on Left Side and 1 Dot in the Middle.
• Bottom Left Block > 2 Dots in the Middle and 2 Dots on the Right Side.
• Top Right Block > 3 Dots on Left Side and 2 Dots in the Middle.
• Top Left Block > 1 Dot on Left Side, 1 Dot in the Middle, and 1 Dot on Right Side.

Once you have moved all of the blocks to their correct position, you need to jump on the rope in front to open the door ahead. Go inside the door and you will find an Amulet. It will allow you to hypnotize other creatures using Mui. As you go ahead, you will get to test the ability. Simply press the Y Button and then move Mui back to clear the vines from the path.

Go ahead on the path and order Mui to sit on the plant. Now, hang on the ledge and drop down and then go to the right side. As you go ahead, you will see a couple of caterpillar creatures. You need to go up from the rocks and hypnotize the caterpillar on top and move it backward to block the sunlight. Now, go down and hypnotize the other caterpillar and move it a bit forward so, you can get up on the ledge.

Keep going ahead to get out of the dark area and it will conclude this chapter.
