Where to find and how to get Cherubi and Cherrim in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Where to find and how to get Cherubi and Cherrim in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Can’t find Cherubi and Cherrim in Pokémon Arceus Legends? In this guide, we explain how to get and where to find two of the most elusive creatures in the adventure for Nintendo Switch.

Every Pokémon game features especially hard-to-get creatures, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the hit new game for Nintendo Switch, is no exception.

But we are not talking about legendary Pokémon… but about two “normal and current” creatures that are bringing all trainers and trainers upside down. We speak, of course, of Cherubi and Cherrim.

You may have seen the credits of Pokémon Legends: Arceus and not come across any of these Pokémon, they are that rare! Interestingly, you’ve probably heard of Cherrim, as one of the first requests ( #17, “To Bloom or Not to Bloom…” ) we receive in-game invites us to complete her Pokédex entry.

So… How can we get Cherubi and Cherrim? Where are these Pokémon found in the Hisui region? We tell you.

Location and how to get Cherubi and Cherrim

The first thing you need to know is that both Cherubi and Cherrim only appear on trees

That is, if you see a tree shake and you hit it with one of your partner Pokémon, there is a chance that one of these two Pokémon will appear.

However, the chances of finding them are very low… and they don’t appear in all trees, only in some very specific ones

Before going on to detail the exact location of Cherubi and Cherrim in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it should be explained that depending on which of the two you are looking for, you are interested in going to one area or another. Let’s go with Cherubi first.

Where to find and how to get Cherubi

If you are looking for Cherubi, your best option is to go to the Crimson Pantanal and specifically to the Bocazas Swamp

Explore every corner of the Bog for moving trees and hit them; with any luck, a Cherubi will appear.

In our experience, we have found that they are more likely to appear in the area to the southwest, home to an alpha Pachirisu (we have left you the exact location in the image).

If you hit all the trees and you don’t find any Cherubi, you have to go to Jubilee Village and then return to the Crimson Swamp to have the Pokémon in the area “reset”. Be patient and sooner or later it will appear!

Where to find and how to get Cherrim

If you have already got a Cherubi, raising it to level 25 will evolve it into a Cherrim and you won’t have to worry about anything else.

But if you want to catch a wild Cherrim, here’s what to do: your best bet is to travel to Crown Ridge

Once there, head to the Lonely Spring (if you have unlocked the mountain base camp, it would make things a lot easier for you).

In that area there are nine trees that you can hit (we leave you a map with the exact location of each one) and the chances of a Cherrim appearing are very high, so you shouldn’t have any problems finding it.

However! There is something very important that you must take into account: there is currently a bug in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that makes it impossible to catch Cherrim in his Sunny Form. This means that if it’s daylight and Cherrim takes this form, it doesn’t matter how many Poké Balls you throw; you’re not going to catch him.

Your only option is to try to catch him at night when Cherrim shows up in the Cloaked Form. And yes, at Game Freak they are aware of this bug and are already working to fix it.

One last note…

Both Cherubi and Cherrim spawn on the same trees, which means there’s a chance you’ll run into a Cherrim in Crimson Swamp and a Cherubi in Crown Hillside

However, Cherubi is more common in one and Cherrim in another, which is why we have divided this guide to catch Cherubi and Cherrim into two parts.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
