Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Sell Items

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have many different collectibles and items in the game that players can get from the wild or clear out specific Pokemon in the area. Items are of many types and players can use various items on their Pokemon to increase stats, apply potions to them, etc. But players will also get some items that have no use. If you don’t know what to do with those items then you can sell them to earn money and buy the things that you need.

Selling Items

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, both have the same world map in the game and the players of both of these games will get different sorts of items as they explore the world or progress through the story of the game. There are various items in the game like medicines, Poke Balls, Battle Items, Berries, TM Materials, etc. All of the items are stored in the bag in their corresponding tabs. All of the items have different use in the game and players will use them in their time of need but if you look at all the tabs of your bag’s inventory, you’ll find a tab named “Treasures”.

Now Treasures are the items or collectibles that have no use in the game and you’ll find them very often from clearing out the Pokemon in the area or completing the objectives. These items can be sold to an NPC to make money on the side for the things that you need for the journey. The NPC that buys the Treasures’ items is none other than the Guy in the Blue Section at the Pokemon Center.

Go to any Pokemon Center on the map which is indicated by a red icon with Poke Ball in the middle. Once you have reached a Pokemon Center, you need to interact with the Guy in the Blue Section and you’ll get three choices on the screen. You need to select the option that you would like to sell. Choosing that option will open up your bag will all the items in it and you’ll be able to see the selling price of all the things that you have in the bag.

The Items that you need to sell are in the Treasures tab so switch the tabs and go to the Treasures tab to sell all the collectibles that have no use in the game to make money for the useful items in the game. This is one of the basic methods to earn money in the game because you would need to buy a lot of items from the Poke Shop, Delibird Presents Shop, and Sandwich Shops. So, you do want to have enough amount of Poke Coins on you to buy the things that you need for the journey.
