Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Use Phone Camera

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is an Open-World game with RPG mechanics and since players can explore the world on their own as well as with their friends, they can also use their Rotom Phones to take pictures of the Pokemon World and save the memories of their adventure.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to use the phone camera in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Using the Phone Camera

Players start the game from their character’s house and on the first day of school, they will also bring their Rotom Phones with them. After completing the Prologue of the game, players will reach the Mesagoza town from where they can start the story journey of the game. As players start the journey and explore the Pokemon World, they will be able to capture the moments in their Rotom Phones by accessing the Phone Camera.

To access the Phone Camera, you need to press the Down Button on the D-Pad. This will open the back camera of the Rotom Phone and you’ll be able to capture the Seas, Mountains, Valleys, Pokemon, etc. with the camera and then save the memories. The Phone Camera also has different options that players can change while taking the photo.

Players can press the Up button on the D-Pad to hide the Glide in the frame. When players first open the camera, the Glide will be on so if they want to hide the Glide, they can do it by pressing the Up button. Players can also change the Filters while taking the Photo. The Right and the Left buttons on the D-Pad will allow players to change the filters. There are various filters and players will be able to take the photo in the Filter that they like. Players can also Rotate the Camera by pressing the L or R buttons. The whole camera will be rotated so if you want to capture a moment in a rotating picture then you can do that as well.

Players can also reset the camera and it will change all the options that you have changed to normal. If you want to take the Selfie then you can press the Y button and the camera will switch to Selfie mode and you can take pictures with the scenery, your Pokemon, your Friends, etc. You can also change all of the options in the Selfie mode as well and there is also an addition of emotes in the Selfie Mode.

You can look in another direction or look at the camera as well as you can do the emotes available. Press the Up button on the D-Pad to open the emotes that you have and to do the emote, you can press the Right button on the D-Pad. Once you are ready after changing the options and finding the perfect view, you can press the Capture Button to take the Photo and save it in the memories.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
