Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - Xerxes

Mount Qaf and its Ancient City have a couple of currencies that players will get as they eliminate enemies and explore the biomes. The main currency in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is Time Crystals which is obtained from killing the enemies, breaking objects, and destroying the large Time Crystals nodes. Another currency that players will rarely find is Xerxes, a rare coin that was once used as the primary currency in Mount Qaf.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Xerxes and where to spend it in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

How to Get Xerxes in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Xerxes are rare coins that can be obtained by multiple methods in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. One of the earliest Xerxes coins that players can get is by purchasing it from The Mage shop in The Haven area. The Mage only sells one Xerxes which will cost 200 Time Crystals. To get the rest of the Xerxes Coins, players will have to complete the side quests and find them by exploring the biomes.

As players explore the biomes, they might have a chance to discover a Xerxes Coin in the middle of a challenging platform. To secure the Xerxes Coin, players will have to grab it and land safely without getting hit by any spike or trap.

Where to Spend Xerxes Coin in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Unlike the primary currency Time Crystals, Xerxes Coins are not accepted by the merchants in The Haven area. Instead, it is accepted by a collector named Scrapper who lives deep in The Depths biome. You will first get to find the Scrapper Shop during The Tiger and The Rat main questline. The quest will require you to chase after the Old Man in The Depths and as you follow him, you will reach a Wak-Wak tree in The Depths from where you need to head east instead of going down to find a pathway leading to Scrapper’s Shop.

Interact with the Scrapper’s Shop to meet the Scrapper and he will offer lost items and valuable Amulets in exchange for Xerxes. He is the only merchant where you will get to spend Xerxes so, it is best to save Xerxes Coins and come back to his shop to purchase the items of your interest.
