Remnant 2 – Character Creation Guide

Remnant 2 is an Action-Adventure Role-Playing game that continues on from the story of Remnant: From the Ashes. The survival of humanity continues as players will get to encounter various deadly monsters and solve several puzzles throughout the story. However, before players get to experience all of it, they will have to create their custom character and choose to play Hardcore or not.

In this guide, we’ll tell you about the character creation in Remnant 2.

Character Creation in Remnant 2

Remnant 2 allows players to create their character which mainly focuses on the face of the character. Players do get to select the gender but there are not any options to customize the upper or lower body aspects. All the customization options offer to customize the face. The character creation options that players will get to choose to create their character are the following.

1. Body Type

Body Type is the first customization option of character creation and players will get to choose a Gender and Voice for their character.

• Gender: Select any gender, Male or Female.
• Voice: Select a suitable voice for the character from 6 different voice tones.

2. Face and Skin Tone

The Face and Skin Tone option will allow players to select the Head Type, Skin Tone, and Eye Color of the character.

• Head: There are 8 different Head styles for the character from which players can choose any 1 for their character.
• Skin Tone: Players can select any Skin Tone for their character from 8 different available Skin Tones.
• Eye Color: Players can select any Eye Color of their character from 6 different eye colors.

3. Hair Style and Color

The Hair Style and Color option will allow players to select the Hair Style, Facial Hair, and Hair Color of the character.

• Hair Style: There are 10 different hairstyles available from which players can select any 1 for their character.
• Facial Hair (Male Only): Facial Hair option is only available for Male characters and there are 5 different styles of Facial Hair from which players can select any 1.
• Hair Color:  Players can choose any hair color from 10 different available hair colors.

4. Scars and Markings

The Scars and Markings option will allow players to add Scars and Markings or remove Scars and Markings from the character.

• Markings: There are 6 different Markings available and a none design that can be used to remove the markings from the character’s face.
• Marking Color: If players have chosen any Marking, they can change its color from this option.
• Scars: There are 8 different Scars styles available and a none design that can be used to remove the scars from the character’s face.

After going through all of the choices, players will get to choose whether they want to play Hardcore Mode or not. Selecting the Hardcore will enable the Perma Death which will remove the player’s character if it dies during the playthrough.

Lastly, players can select the Continue option to save the character and get started with the game.
