Remnant 2 – How to Spend Trait Points
Spending Trait Points on the right Trait is important in Remnant 2 as the Traits are originally the passive abilities that give bonuses and buffs to the character. As players progress through the game and take down bosses, they will earn Trait Points which need to be spent at the right trait to get the most out of the passive buffs of the Archetype.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Spend Trait Points in Remnant 2.
How to Spend Trait Points in Remnant 2
Traits are special passive abilities of Archetypes in Remnant 2 that mainly provide unique buffs and bonuses. This mechanic will be highlighted pretty early in the game but players might not understand it correctly as there are some things that the game does not tell you completely. When players defeat the very first boss Root Mantis, they will earn a Trait Point. Now, players can spend the Trait Point by opening the menu and selecting the Traits Tab. In the Traits Tab, players will see 5 Traits of which 4 of them are core and 1 of them is unique to the Archetype.
The Core Traits are the ones that players should spend Trait Points on because the Traits that are exclusive to the Archetype will automatically level up when Archetype levels up. As an example, the Gunslinger has an Ammo Reserve Trait which will level up as the Gunslinger levels up so, there is no point in spending the Trait Points on the unique traits of the Archetypes.

The traits that players should spend Trait Points on are the Core Traits which include Vigor, Endurance, Spirit, and Expertise. Vigor increases the max health, Endurance increases the max stamina, Spirit increases Mod Power Generation, and Expertise reduces the skill cooldown. It is best to spend Trait Points in Vigor, Endurance, and Expertise at the start of the game to power up your archetype quickly.
