Rumor: Resident Evil Showcase to reveal VR related news

Rumors of a Resident Evil Revelations 3 on Nintendo Switch are growing all the time… with an old acquaintance from the saga as the protagonist.

The Resident Evil saga continues to move forward in its chronology with the upcoming Resident Evil 8 Village, a game that will be released in 2021 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (pending the release on PS4 and Xbox One). But Capcom could reserve another surprise…for Nintendo Switch.

A few days ago we told you that the insider Dusk Golem, who had already brought forward the development of Resident Evil 8, claimed that the mysterious Resident Evil Outbreak 3 revealed by the stolen data from Capcom was actually Resident Evil Revelations 3.

If you are a fan of the franchise, you will surely be familiar with this sub-saga, which consists of two games: Resident Evil Revelations, which was initially released on Nintendo 3DS and later on other systems, and Resident Evil Revelations 2, released in 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, PS Vita and others.

The Revelations saga is located among certain titles in the saga, as spin-offs. The first is set between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, while the second is set between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. These third Revelations would continue what was seen in its predecessor.

According to insider Dusk Golem, Resident Evil Revelations 3 is a reality and is being developed with Nintendo Switch in mind. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be released on other consoles later, just as it was with the first game.

Nothing is known about the plot of this third Revelation, except that one of the main characters of Resident Evil Zero and a key part of the saga would return: Rebecca Chambers. We’ll have to wait and see if we have a new Resident Evil adventure on Nintendo Switch soon…

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
