Sony can't say if God of War: Ragnarok will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive

The Telegraph published the second part of an interview with the President and Chief Executive officer of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan.

One of the questions that were asked to the head of PlayStation during the conversation concerned the upcoming releases of the company, namely, the continuation of God of War. Journalists directly asked him whether the game will be a PS5 exclusive, but Ryan avoided the answer, noting only that now he has nothing to say about it.

Telegraph: “Can you confirm that [previously announced] God of War: Ragnarok will be a PS5 exclusive?”.

Ryan: “I’m sorry, but I don’t have anything to say about this at the moment.”

The new part of God of War was announced in September at the presentation of the PlayStation 5, but the developers did not say whether the project will be released only on the new console, or will be a cross-gen title. The second option is quite acceptable, given that Sony is going to support the PlayStation 4 for at least a few more years. Some PS5 launch exclusives were released on the previous generation, and the upcoming Horizon: Forbidden West has already been officially confirmed for release on both consoles at once.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
