Sony wants to bring more first-party games to the PC platform, in order to promote further growth in profitability

Sony published its corporate report for the 2020 financial year (April 1, 2019 – March 31, 2020), in which, among other things, it shared its plans and prospects for the development of its gaming division. We summarize the main provisions.

Development strategy
- The company intends to actively invest in “strengthening the content base”.
- The quality and number of exclusives for the platform will increase.
- Another important area will be to improve the service component of the system.
- In addition to improving the quality and working conditions of its own studios, Sony Interactive Entertainment will continue to invest or acquire other studios with a wealth of creativity and cutting edge technology to strengthen its own Worldwide Studios division.
