You can explore the vast world of Starfield using various vessels that you can acquire either by completing missions or by pilfering them from enemies. There are a total of 10 ships that you can own during your playthrough, and you can switch between them at your convenience. However, owning 10 ships simultaneously is only worthwhile if they are of legendary and exclusive quality. How to Sell Ships in Starfield

To sell your ship, you need to interact with the Ship Services Technician NPC located at the Jemison Planet Dock. Engage in conversation with the Space Technician and select the dialogue option “I’d like to view and modify my ship.” This action will open the Ship menu, allowing you to choose from the ships you own and make changes using the LB and RB buttons.

Now, to sell your ship, ensure that it has been registered. If you inspect a registered ship, you will be presented with the option to Sell It by pressing the A Button. However, if the ship has not been registered, you will see the Register option when pressing the A Button.
