Starfield Pre-Load Date and Download Size

Starfield, one of the most anticipated games of 2023, is just a few weeks away from its official launch. As the launch date approaches, more details about Starfield have been leaking, with the latest information coming from none other than Amazon. Amazon, one of Starfield’s retailers, has revealed the Pre-Load Date and Download Size for the game.

Players will have the option to Pre-Load Starfield starting from August 9th, 2023, and the Download Size for the pre-load is approximately 125 GB. Starfield is an exclusive title for both XBOX and PC, and the download size remains consistent for both platforms. Players who have pre-ordered the game will be able to pre-install it on their devices, including those with XBOX Game Pass Ultimate.

Considering that Starfield features the exploration of around 1,000 different planets, the download size is understandable. The availability of pre-loading is beneficial for Bethesda, as it helps prevent overwhelming the Steam and XBOX servers on launch day when every player attempts to download the game simultaneously.

Players who have pre-ordered the game will receive an in-game bonus skin pack and will start the game with a complete Old Mars Skin Pack. The game will become playable on September 6th, 2023, and will be launched on XBOX Series X|S and PC.
