The Expanse: A Telltale Series - Give Scotch to Cox

Cox is the early general of the whole crew of Scavengers until he goes rogue and tries to kill Drummer. Players will get the choice of either ejecting him in space or throwing him in the Brig. This major choice has an impact in Episode 2 and the players who have thrown Cox into the Brig will be able to have further talk with Cox at various points in the story. Players can also even offer Scotch to Cox which has a positive impact and might change things in the later episodes.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to give Scotch to Cox in The Expanse: A Telltale Series.

How to Give Scotch to Cox

To offer Scotch to Cox, players will first have to find the Scotch. During the run in the Ship Graveyard, players will come across an empty bottle of Scotch in the UNN ship. Players cannot take the bottle as it only gives the option to talk to Cox. However, if players get the Scotch bottle from General Cox’s room, then they will be able to give Scotch to Cox.

To do so, players need to complete the Ship Graveyard sequence of Episode 2. After reaching the ship, players need to talk to Khan before they head down to Officer’s Deck. Go down to the Officer’s Deck and before going to Crew’s Deck, head inside G. Cox’s room. Interact with the Cabinet in front to reveal the same bottle of Scotch from the early scenes of Episode 1.

Select the “Take” option to pick up the Scotch Bottle and then go down to the Cargo Bay area. Go towards the Brig where Cox has been put to get the following choices.

  • Look
  • Scotch
  • Speak

Select the Scotch option to start a cutscene in which Drummer gives Cox the bottle of Scotch. It triggers a positive response and might impact the story in later episodes of the Telltale series.
