Episode 2: Hunting Grounds – Walkthrough
The episode begins in a hurry with Pirates chasing the ship of Scavengers. As Scavengers reach a safer distance from the pirates, Drummer will get to talk to Maya where players will get the following choices.
Dialogue: “I’m not the one we need to worry about.”
Choices
- She’s tough.
- She’s getting weaker
Select any choice to pursue the scene.
Khan needs medical attention at some point down the road. She will fill in Drummer with the Pirates situation and players will get the following choices.
Dialogue: “We’re outgunned and nearly out of fuel. Useless we come up with a plan to shake to them soon, infection’s gonna be the least of my problems.”

- What would Cox do?
Select any choice to pursue the scene.
Maya will tell Drummer about the Ship Graveyard and the Debris field in it and players will get the following options.
Dialogue: “Or, much more likely, it’s some solar backscatter, radiation cluttering, or any other fucking thing.”
Choices
- How confident are you?
- How large was it?
Select any choice to pursue the scene.
The Scavengers will make it into the Debris field and shake off the Pirates. Khan needs to get ready for her surgery from Virgil and players will get the following options.
Dialogue: “I’m… still here.”
Choices
- He’ll be fine.
- He’s all we have.
Select any choice to pursue the scene.
Search the MCRN Ship for Reaction Mass
As the cutscene ends, players will be out in the Debris Field looking for Reaction Mass. Go to the Belter Ship in front but it will be locked. Go through the Air Lock behind to reach the MCRN Ship. Press the Space Button to stick to the floor of the ship and go ahead into the Med Bay. Get to the Mess Hall by going down further into the ship. Follow the Yellow Marker to reach the Server Room and find the Reaction Mass.
Search the UNN Ship for Reaction Mass
After finding the Reaction Mass in MCRN, go out of the hole in the front and reach the UNN Ship. Follow the Yellow Marker and go through the dialogues. As players go deeper into the debris of UNN Ship, they will find the Reaction Mass.
Find the Reaction Mass in Le Guin
Make the way back to Belter Ship and blow open the door of Le Guin. Go up to the Lockdown Controls to unlock the door in Le Guin. Interact with the Lockdown Controls to unlock the door and then go back down and through the unlocked door to find the Reaction Mass. To toss the Reaction mass to the Twins, cut the panel, and then interact with the Reaction Mass.
Evade the Pirates
Press the Left-Click to push the pirate into the lasers to kill him. Use the gravity boots and jetpack to get around the lasers to evade the pirates. As players go deeper into the ship, they need to successfully pass the QTEs. Press the Right-Click and Left-Click buttons when prompted to pass the QTEs and kill the pirates in the area. Go ahead to reach the end of the ship to start a cutscene in which Maya will come for help and players will get the following options.
Dialogue: “PDC delivery.”

- I said stay back.
Select any choice to pursue the scene.

Players need to pass the QTEs to take out the torpedoes. Press the Right-Click and Left-Click on time to pass the QTEs.
Talk to Khan
As players get back to the ship, they need to talk to Khan which will give the following options.
Dialogue: “Resting. Go away.”
Choices
- Destination.
- Pirates.
- Goodbye.
Select the Destination choice.
Dialogue: “Nada. All I know is that it’s far the fuck out there, so whoever hid that treasure wanted it far the fuck away.”
Choices
- Pirates.
- Goodbye.
Select the Pirates option to end the conversation.
Talk to Maya
Go down to the Officer Deck and make your way to the Crew Deck. Head along the path to reach the Cargo Deck and go to the left side to find Maya. Talk to Maya to get the options.
Dialogue: “Hey, Cap.”
Choices
- Thank You.
- Khan’s arm.
- Music
Select the Thank You option.
Dialogue: “Anytime.”
Choices
- Khan’s arm.
- Music
- Leave you to it.
Select the Khan’s arm option.
Dialogue: “I think if Khan wanted to kill someone, she could do it without arms or legs.”
Choices
- Music
- Leave you to it.
Selecting the Leave you to it option will get players more options as Maya discusses the Airlock incident.
Dialogue: “I know you were pretty scared, given how tightly you were holding my hand.”
Choices
- YOU held MY hand.
- Felt sorry for you.
Select any choice to pursue.
Dialogue: “I think you know exactly what it means… helmet clinker.”
Choices
- So what?
- Trying to Kiss?
Select any choice to pursue.
Dialogue: “You know, we could stand here talking about hands and helmets all night. Or we could go back to my room and settle it.”
Choices
- … by fighting?
- … by fucking?
Select any choice to pursue the scene.
Talk to Virgil
Go to the Mess Hall and to the back room to talk to Virgil.
Dialogue: “What’s on your mind, Captain?”
Choices
- What Cox said.
- Goodbye.
Select the first choice to pursue the conversation.
Get Some Well-Deserved Rest
Follow the Yellow Marker to get to the Crew Quarters.
MAJOR CHOICE
- Go to Maya’s Room
- Go to Your Room
Both of the choices will have consequences.

After making the choice, the final cutscene of the episode plays out and the episode concludes.
