The next Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighter could be a Bandai Namco character

Fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate assure that the next fighter for the Nintendo game belongs to Bandai Namco and would join Pac-Man.

One of the great Nintendo Switch exclusives is Super Smash Bros Ultimate, the excellent fighting game that brings together the best characters from Nintendo and from many other sagas. Sephirot from Final Fantasy VII has recently joined the video game’s cast, and fans are speculating on who the next fighter will be …

There are still three characters from Fighter Pass Vol.2 to be revealed, and although these will be announced throughout 2021. Fans are already building theories about which will be the first of them. Apparently, it will be a Bandai Namco character although there is nothing confirmed.

This new fighter for Super Smash Bros Ultimate would be announced between the months of March and April and fan theory refers to three of the four studios that have collaborated with Nintendo, Square Enix, Capcom, and Konami, already have three representatives each on the Nintendo Switch title.

There is only one studio that has only contributed one character to the game: Bandai Namco, including the mythical Pac-Man. Fans assure that the first fighter to be revealed in 2021 belongs to the licenses of this studio and even point out that it belongs to the Tales saga.

Bandai Namco will celebrate this year an anniversary event of its Tales franchise and there is also a background within the Smash Bros saga in relation to the character of Lloyd Irving.

This protagonist of Tales of Symphonia already had small participation in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, and also said Bandai Namco title was released in 2003 for GameCube.

Of course, this is only a fan theory and Nintendo has not confirmed anything but it is possible that the new member of the extensive cast of Super Smash Bros Ultimate belongs to Bandai Namco. We’ll find out in a few months.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
