They find a seemingly useless Cyberpunk 2077 item. Hints for future DLC, or removed content?

Warhorse Studios' Co-founder says Cyberpunk 2077 is better than GTA V, TES V: Skyrim and RDR 2

An object in Cyberpunk 2077 allows us not to be detected underwater … which, currently, is completely useless. Is it a hint for future DLC … or remnants of content removed from the final game?

As a good role-playing game, Cyberpunk 2077 is full of objects with which to enhance the attributes of our character, such as proficiency in hacking or their ability with weapons. However, one of those objects is, to this day, completely useless, which has led to a lot of fun on Reddit.

User BilboSwagginsDaGawd found a passive enhancer that makes you undetectable underwater. So said it does not sound bad … but Cyberpunk 2077 does not have an area with water. The image is accompanied by an exto: “If you ever feel useless, remember that this perk exists.

This leads to more speculation. Does CD Projekt RED plan additional content with a new map with areas with water? It could be: we know they have similar or larger expansions planned than The Witcher 3 had, although they won’t be revealed until next year … and they’ll probably be delayed, considering all the work they have to optimize (or fix) the game on consoles.

Another possibility, of course, is that the water was part of an area that had to be eliminated, but that booster was left behind by some mistake. After all, other users have also found unused elements on the Night City map, such as a train system, with tracks and stations that we could have used.

I said: in 2021 we should know more about the Cyberpunk 2077 expansions. However, they will take much longer than necessary, seeing that there are still many patches to be released on consoles to fix bugs and game performance. And that without forgetting that the native versions of PS5 and Xbox Series X are also planned for next year …

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
