One of the new, uncommon bugs that players can catch is the Banshee Beetle. In this guide, we will tell you where to find and catch the Banshee Beetle in Palia.
Where to Find Banshee Beetle in Palia
The Banshee Beetle is one of the new uncommon bugs in the game that spawn throughout the Royal Highlands map region. They are pretty easy to spot due to their blue and lime color. However, they only appear in the evening from 6 PM to 9 PM in-game time. You can spot the Banshee Beetles in the popular areas as follows.
- Lonely Glen
- The Standing Cliffs
- Royal Hunting Grounds
- Old Amphitheatre
- Steps of Renova
- Old Fortuna
- Amber Lake
- Mudan’s Wall
The best place to find Banshee Beetles out of all these areas is Amber Lake. You can find a bunch of them at a time. While you are exploring any of these areas, listen for a bug sound cue. If it is a blue and lime beetle, then it should be the Banshee Beetle. However, you might find some of the Banshee Beetles inside the Amber crystals. You need to break these crystals before you can catch them.

How to Catch Banshee Beetle in Palia
Catching the Banshee Beetle is harder than most bugs that roam freely in Royal Highlands. Upon finding a Banshee Beetle, use the Smoke Bombs to stun it.
Additionally, stunning the Banshee Beetle will require a few Smoke Bombs, so make sure you bring enough to stun it when you find it. If the Banshee Beetle gets alerted, it will try to flee in a straight line before burying itself into the ground. It is best to throw the Sticky Smoke Bombs on it to slow it down and then use the regular Smoke Bombs to stun it. Once you have stunned the Banshee Beetle, go near it and interact with it to pick it up.
NOTE: There is a chance you might run into an Amber-touched Banshee Beetle, which has an Amber around it.
Catching the Amber-touched Banshee Beetle will drop more Amber Echo. However, if you do not have the Echo Tracker, you will not get Amber Echo from catching a Banshee Beetle or any other bug. Echo Tracker is a special relic that Eshelon gives during the “A Stitch in Time” quest.
Uses of Banshee Beetle in Palia
The main use of Banshee Beetle is to use it as a crafting ingredient for Belafontine’s Blessing II Relic. Other than that, players can sell Banshee Beetles for 65 Gold (Base) and 97 Gold (Star-Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or those who need it. So, if you can find any Banshee Beetles, store one in the storage so you can give one to the villagers who need it. The villagers’ needs change every week, so it is better to keep an eye on them.
