Will the Next DLC Be Related to Sleeping Beauty or Beauty and the Beast – Disney Dreamlight Valley
Yesterday, Disney Dreamlight Valley announced their upcoming Showcase Stream on October 29, 2024. The Showcase Stream will feature the contents of the new free update for the Valley along with what is waiting beyond the Valley, meaning a new DLC. The initial teaser revealed the portrayals of Maleficent and Hades, hinting that the next DLC might be themed on Sleeping Beauty. However, a new teaser gives hints on Beauty and the Beast by showing the Castle with stained glass and books.
The New Teaser Gives Hints on Both Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty
Recently, the Devs revealed a new teaser for the Showcase Stream 2024 with “Reason #1” to tune into the stream. The new teaser shows a big Castle with stained glass behind a clock which looks to be originally from the Beauty and the Beast movie. If we focus on the portrayal of the stained glass, we can see the Beast in his human form, before he was turned.
Moreover, the second shot in the teaser shows books outside of the Castle, another hint towards the Beauty and the Beast. In the back, we can see Scrooge’s store as well. However, the final shot shows more of the room from the initial teaser with both Maleficent and Hades’ portrayals.
Things get complicated from here because when we think about the Sleeping Beauty DLC, it is what makes the most sense for the developers to put out, rather than Beauty and the Beast. Because we already have the Beauty and the Beast Realm with the Beast’s castle and the library full of books for Belle.
Moreover, we do think that the next DLC will focus on Disney Villains, especially Maleficent and Hades. Our speculation is more on the side of the Sleeping Beauty DLC than any other. However, there are still days remaining in the Showcase, and the Devs will give a new clue each day so, we might get more surprises with the upcoming teasers.
