The Winter Floating Festival is underway in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is a brand-new winter event that takes place on a temporary floating island. Players can visit the island to participate in the event and solve puzzles to earn exclusive rewards. However, most of the puzzles are time-gated, meaning they take multiple real-life days to complete due to limited resources on the island. Limited-Time Resources for the Winter Floating Festival Event

The Winter Floating Festival event offers five different puzzles for players to complete during the event’s period. Each puzzle is unique and requires certain limited-time resources exclusive to the island. The main resource for the puzzles is the Festive Cocoa Bean. It is the main ingredient for cooking three Festive Hot Cocoa Meals that are also essential to completing puzzles.

Where to Find Festive Cocoa Bean in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The spawn point of the Festive Cocoa Bean is around the picnic blanket behind the Arendelle Castle on the island. Go straight from the wishing well and then turn left. Continue along the path ahead, and you will spot the Arendelle Castle on the right. Go behind the castle to spot a picnic blanket on the ground. The Festive Cocoa Bean spawns around the picnic blanket on the ground. Only 5 Festive Cocoa Beans spawn at a time. Moreover, it takes about 5 minutes for each Festive Cocoa Bean to spawn.

Use of Festive Cocoa Bean for Puzzles

The Festive Cocoa Bean is necessary for completing two puzzles, for now, including Frosty Rabbit and Winter Chocolate Fountain. The Frosty Rabbit puzzle requires players to feed four Festive Hot Cocoa of the day to a Frosty Rabbit critter, one every day. You must feed the correct Hot Cocoa of the day to the rabbit for it to drop a memory.

The Winter Chocolate Fountain puzzle requires the players to place Hot Cocoa meals in the empty fountain. 15x Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa, 10x Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa, and 20x Festive Mint Hot Cocoa. All three of these Hot Cocoa Meals require Festive Cocoa Bean to make. It means you will have to gather 45 Festive Cocoa Beans in total to cook all three different Hot Cocoa Meals and place them in the empty fountain to complete the puzzle.
