best cooling pals in palworld 1.0

Palworld 1.0 is here, and it brings over 70 new Pals for players to encounter and tame. There are the new high-level biomes, including Sunreach and World Tree, containing most of the new Pals. With the addition of the new Pals, there are considerable changes in the best Pals for certain work suitability. One of the main ones in the endgame is the cooling work suitability. In this guide, we will explain the best cooling Pals to get in Palworld 1.0.

What are the Best Cooling Pals in Palworld 1.0

When it comes to figuring out the best Cooling Pals for your base, you must consider the base cooling level of the Pals. Although every Pal can reach Cooling Level 10 by giving them Cooling’s Handbook, it can be a grind as these are not common. With the release of Palworld 1.0, there are two best cooling Pals that you can rely on. These are Bastigor and Frostallion.

Bastigor Pal

Bastigor location in Palworld

Bastigor is a new Pal that players can only catch in the snow region inside the World Tree. The World Tree is one of the new biomes in Palworld. Once there, head to the northwest side of the map to encounter Bastigor. Here are the stats for Bastigor in Palworld.

  • Bastigor has a Level 8 Cooling by default.
  • Moreover, it has Level 5 Mining and Level 6 Lumbering.
  • It can use end-game cooling structures and lumbering.
  • It needs 4 stars to reach Level 10 Cooling.

If you want a Cooling Pal that can also handle some extra work of end-game Lumbering, then Bastigor is the perfect Pal.

Frostallion Pal

Frostallion is an old Pal that players can encounter as the Field Alpha Boss in the snowy region of the main map. It spawns east of the Land of Absolute Zero teleport Point, where it roams alone. The exact coordinates for it are (-357, 508). Here are the stats for Frostallion Pal.

  • Frostallion has a Level 7 Cooling by default.
  • It can use end-game cooling structures.
  • It needs 3 stars to reach Level 10 Cooling.
  • There is no other work suitability.

Frostallion is purely for handling Cooling tasks at the base. The fact that the players can get it at Level 60 makes it an early option to run a base in the hot climate.

Bonus Cooling Pals in Palworld 1.0

In addition to these two Cooling Pals, you can get the following Pals throughout your journey to take care of the cooling tasks at your mid-game bases.

  • Univolt Cryst: Level 6 Cooling by default.
  • Whalaska: Level 6 Cooling by default.
  • Mammorest Cryst: Level 5 Cooling by default.
  • Icelyn: Level 5 Cooling by default.

These and other Pals like Wumpo, Polapup, Munchill, Chillet, etc., can only help at a certain point. Moreover, these Pals take much more time to reach Level 10 Cooling. It is best to get Frostallion after reaching a 60+ character level. After that, you can make your way to the World Tree to get Bastigor.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
