The Norgan is a harsh, icy region with tougher enemies and challenges in Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen DLC. Even if you arrive in this region fully geared up, it can still feel pretty challenging. One of the best ways to get yourself a fighting chance is to unlock the blacksmith merchant in the Norgandian Settlement. The blacksmith in the settlement is Hal, and to unlock his services, you have to bring him some Winterweed Blossom.  In this guide, we will explain where to find Winterweed Blossom for Hal in Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen DLC.

Upon speaking with Hal at the Norgandian Settlement, you will get the “Hammer and Tongs” quest. Hal will ask you to bring him a Winterweed Blossom, and he will offer gear crafting in return. Although it sounds like a regular flower, you have to travel east of the region to find it.

If you look at the highlighted area on the map, it looks like a simple traversal towards the east, but it is not. It is because the gate to the Abandoned Village is locked. The only way around it is to reach it from the north side. To do so, travel north, follow the road to the east before the lake, and continue going east until you reach the main road. From this road, travel south towards the marked zone.

Once you are inside the search zone, travel to the southeast side. Go through the main gate archway of the village and then go to the far-left side. At the end of the path, look for the blue flowers on the ground. These are the Winterweed Blossom flowers. Gather the flower, and you are good to return to Hal to turn in the quest.

TIP: Search the village houses to find a Climbing Hook.

After delivering the Winterweed Blossom flower to Hal, he will offer his blacksmithing services to you. He can craft you the new weapons and armor of the DLC. Moreover, he also offers the transmog service once you have completed the “Reaching the Far Shore” quest.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
