PS5 takes no more than 11 seconds to boot according to a leaked video

In an interview, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive, described the demand for PlayStation 5 as “very substantial”, at least based on the number of consoles purchased in America during the pre-sale period.

According to Ryan, the number of PS5 pre-orders in the first twelve hours was comparable to the number of PS4 pre-orders in twelve weeks. He did not give any specific figures, but current-generation console sales in the US passed the million mark within 24 hours of the release.

The head of SIE noted that with such demand it can be very difficult to buy a console at the start without pre-orders, even though Sony is making every effort to put enough devices in shops.

It may also happen that not everyone who wants to buy a PS5 on the day it starts selling will be able to find a console in retail.

Jim Ryan also said that the company plans to expand its internal studios and is considering new ones. However, there are no concrete plans in this regard so far.

The release of PlayStation 5 in the US and several other countries will take place on November 12. Sales around the world, including Russia, are scheduled to start on the 19th.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
