There are not a lot of puzzles in the main storyline of Assassin’s Creed Mirage but one of the trickiest puzzles that you will get to encounter solving is during the endgame while hunting for Serpent, the last member of the Order. Once you have come close to taking out the Order, The Serpent will be your last target but she is quite good at hiding herself and you will find yourself solving a puzzle in her library to get to her secret chamber.

How to Solve the Serpent’s Nest Book Puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The Book Puzzle takes place inside the library of the Serpent and the library has a hidden entrance to Serpent’s secret chamber that you need to unveil by solving the puzzle. When you reach the library, you will notice that you will get four different colored books. Well, these books have a significant meaning that you will use to solve the puzzle. Using the Eagle Vision while staying on the bottom floor will highlight a note near the staircase. Pick up the note to get a poem with the title ‘Ocean, Desert, Cobra, Dove’. The title of the poem is your main hint of solving the puzzle. If you look directly up from the location of the poem and look at the walls, you will see four different paintings.

These paintings are in the same order as the poem Ocean, Desert, Cobra, and Dove from the left side to the right side. The way you need to solve the puzzle is to match the matching book color to the painting. For instance, Blue Book to Ocean and Yellow Book to Desert. For simplicity, place the books on the holders in the following order from the left side to the right side.

• Yellow Book
• Black Book
• White Book

Placing all of the books in the correct order will unveil the entrance to the Serpent’s secret chamber inside the library.
