Call of Duty Vanguard: All Error Codes and Their Fixes
This is the list of the most annoying errors that appear in Call of Duty Vanguard, with some possible solutions.
As usual during the last installments of the Call of Duty license, in Vanguard we also have a series of error codes that players have been discovering from game bugs and that many of them have not yet been solved.
Call of Duty Vanguard has just been launched on the market and at the moment we have only seen two important error codes, but it is convenient to know how each one of them comes out and some possible solutions in case you end up encountering them.
So in this article we are going to gather together all the error codes that appear in Call of Duty Vanguard, providing you, if that were the case, with certain solutions, although the most sensible thing to do would be to wait for the development team itself to issue a patch that solves it.
Call of Duty Vanguard: All Error Codes and Their Fixes
Development error code 5537
This latest error code discovered by the community is activated specifically in the multiplayer menu.
This bug 5537 could appear when you try to change the outfit and appearance of your operator. If the crash is triggered, you will notice that when you try to change the operator’s outfit and appearance, the game crashes and sends you back to the home screen. When you return it was not possible to change the outfit of the operative.
At the moment there is no solution to this, and the most sensible thing is to wait for the development team to release a patch in the next few days.
If this error appears, turn off the console, and redo the process, hopefully it will not appear for the next time.
Development error code 6068
This error code has also appeared during the first hours of availability of the game, and is limited to the PC version.
Like the previous one, it is an error that blocks the game, and this time we have a few solutions that you could do:
- Run Vanguard as administrator on your computer
- Also, try to delete the Battle.net cache by typing “% ProgramData%” in your Windows + R search bar and deleting the Blizzard Entertainment folder that appears
- You could also turn off the Xbox game bar or any other overlay you may have running on your screen
Surely many more error codes will be added over the next few weeks, and it is convenient to install each of the patches from the first moment because many of them include corrections for these types of failures.
