The mid-season update for Vanguard zombies has been available for days now and with it the possibility of unlocking a classic game mode based on Shi No Numa rounds, but it is not as easy to unlock as it seems.

Unfortunately, to play this new classic mode is not as easy as hitting a button directly, but first, we must complete a series of objectives and go to a very specific place on the map.

That is why we are not only going to explain how the new Shi No Numa round-based game mode works, but also how we can unlock it, although luckily it won’t take too long.

Call of Duty Vanguard: Unlock Zombies Wave Mode Shi No Numa

These are all the steps you need to take to unlock the game mode:

• Go to Der Anfang in Vanguard Zombies
• Complete the objectives until you can access Von List’s office where we will have the void portal
• As soon as you see it, activate it and you will already be in Shi No Numa for this round-based game

The operation of this mode is quite simple, and while there are no localized benefits here we do have a pertinent Pack a Punch machine on the lower level.

If you want to return to Stalingrad to buy benefits or upgrade artifacts, you must complete three rounds first, and as soon as you do, you are given the option to flee or continue.

Once you are out you will receive 5000 Essence which you can spend and then come back to continue playing this round-based game. Of course, you will not be able to go out again until you complete at least another three more rounds.

Although it is not exactly what the user community expected at first, the truth is that it is quite fun to play this game mode.

Call of Duty Vanguard is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Zombies mode is a real joy with friends, and with the recent update, you will have many hours of fun.
