Confusion among fans after Nintendo shared this “4K” image of Animal Crossing: New Horizons

It seems that a recent official image of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is unleashing all kinds of speculation. Apparently, this is due to its resolution.

This is an image from the official Animal Crossing account where Canela reminds us that we already have Clover Day items available in the game. Well, the screenshot appears to be extremely high resolution.

The screenshots that Nintendo publishes are normally 1080p and this one, in particular, seems to be in “4K”, since its dimensions are 5760 × 3240. You can check it in the direct link of the image.

As you can imagine, many fans wonder why this image looks so good and it is suspected that it would be an image created by a computer and not captured on Nintendo Switch. This has already happened in fact with another image of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and some other title.
