Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty – How to Get the Thermal Katana (Errata)

Cyberpunk 2077: Thermal Katana

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and Phantom Liberty expansion have added many new weapons for players to grab in the game. These new weapons can be obtained throughout the main story’s gameplay and the Phantom Liberty DLC story. One of the new weapons that players can get pretty early in their playthrough is the Errata, a burning Thermal Katana that is an Iconic Tier 5 weapon.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the Thermal Katana in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

Thermal Katana (Errata) Location

The Iconic Thermal Katana is obtainable at the point when players have completed or reached the Disasterpiece main quest. During the quest, players will get to make their way inside the “Electric Corporation” building in which they will be able to find the Thermal Katana. However, the Katana can easily be overlooked and missed. The Electric Corporation building is located under the bridge, between the Republic East and Longshore South fast travel points.

Fast Travel to any one of the fast travel points and go under the bridge to reach the Electric Corporation building.

How to Get the Thermal Katana (Errata)

After reaching the location of the building, you will be able to get inside the building only if you have completed the main mission or currently doing it. Once inside the building, make your way to Sector 0 and go down the stairs. Open the door at the end and you will see the Sector 1 sign, go left and open the door. Keep going along the path until you reach the Sector 2 sign. Turn right and keep going along the path to go down and open the door with a red light. Now, go to the center of the area to reach a furnace in which you will find the Thermal Katana.

Pick up Errata and open the inventory to equip the Thermal Katana to your Melee Weapon slot to use it.
