The Phantom Liberty DLC Expansion has a couple of new activities taking place in Dogtown in which players can partake to earn extra goodies on the side. One of the new activities added specifically for the players who own Phantom Liberty DLC is Airdrop. Players will have a chance to loot the Airdrops to get Cyberware, Clothes, Weapons, Skill Shards, and much more.

Where to Find Airdrops in Phantom Liberty

Airdrops are supply caches that drop at random locations throughout the Dogtown district from time to time. Whenever an Airdrop drops in Dogtown, a distant sound can be heard which will grow near as you start following the sound. If you are near an area of the Airdrop, you will be able to see the Red Smoke. Follow the Red Smoke and sound to reach the location of the Airdrop.

How to Loot Airdrops in Phantom Liberty

Looting the Airdrops can have up to 5 different scenarios in which you have to complete the scenario’s respective objective to gain access to the cache to loot it.

• Shootout: Shootout is the most common scenario where you will have to defeat several enemies and sometimes a mech robot to get access to the airdrop to loot its contents.
• Grab: In the grab scenario, you will be able to loot the airdrop without any interruptions. It happens mostly when you are the first one to get to the airdrop as soon as it drops.
• Retake: The retake scenario has fewer enemies compared to the Shootout. Defeat the enemies to get access to the airdrop.
• Ambush: In the Ambush scenario, enemies will appear as soon as you start looting the airdrop. Defeat the enemies to secure all the loot.
• Custom: Sometimes you will encounter bits of story and lore about the people of Dogtown with Airdrop. This scenario has a unique encounter after looting the airdrop.

In all of the scenarios, most of the time you will have to perform the breach protocol hack to access the contents of the airdrop so, make sure that you clear all of the enemies before you start the hacking process.
