Dave the Diver – How to Refill Oxygen Tank

Dave the Diver is an indie game that will allow players to explore the deep sea by diving into an ocean area named Blue Hole. As diving is one of the main tasks in the game that players will have to do throughout the whole game to catch fish along with find useful materials, ingredients, and much more. In order to do all of these things, players would require to have enough oxygen in their oxygen tank to fulfill their needs and go back to the surface.

How to Refill Oxygen Tank in Dave the Diver

Players will start with a small oxygen tank at the start of the game which would only store 89 O₂. Oxygen is consumed during almost all of the actions performed under the sea. From swimming from one point to another to catching fish to diving deeper, and carrying more weight. All of these actions consume a certain amount of oxygen from the attack. Players would lose oxygen quickly if they dive deeper than the normal depth range, carry more weight than capacity, or get attacked by fish or sea monsters. So, it is important to keep an eye on the oxygen tank which can be seen in the bottom left corner. Luckily, there are multiple ways through which players can refill the oxygen tank to continue the exploration.

1. Going back up on the Mother Ship.
2. Finding Oxygen Capsules.
3. Finding Oxygen Barrels.

The easiest way to refill the Oxygen Tank is by going back to the surface to end the diving run. It will consume time so the day might change or not depending on day diving or night diving. Players would be able to dive for another run if it was the day dive. Another useful method is finding the Oxygen Capsules. The Oxygen Capsules are the yellow tanks that can be found in the Yellow Chests spread on different depth levels of the Blue Hole. Looting the yellow chests will drop an oxygen cylinder most of the time. After that, players would be able to use the cylinder by pressing the respective button to refill the oxygen tank.

Another similar method to finding oxygen Capsules is to find the oxygen barrels in the depths of the Blue Hole. The Oxygen Barrels are easy to find and they can be found in the same way as the yellow chests. The only difference is that the barrel would have the oxygen logo on it and players would only have to interact with it to refill the oxygen tank automatically. The 2^nd and 3^rd methods will allow players to continue on the exploration of the deep sea without ending the run early.

However, it is possible to not find oxygen Capsules or barrels more often so, it is better to upgrade the Oxygen Tank as soon as possible.
