Disney Dreamlight Valley: Fixing The Boat Quest – Walkthrough

After making progress in the game and unlocking the Moana Realm, Moana will come to Dazzle Beach and give you a quest named “Fixing the Boat” in which you’ll have to gather the resources and craft them into useful items that’ll help Moana fix the Boat.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete the Fixing the Boat quest of Moana in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Fixing The Boat Quest

After talking to Moana about the broken boat, she’ll tell you to gather the following items.

• 50x Softwood
• 70x Fiber
• 3x Pink Hydrangea

Soft woods are very easy to find, you can find multiple softwoods under the trees. Start looking under the trees and collect 50x Softwood. Pink Hydrangea is a flower that grows on Dazzle Beach. It is a pink grown-up flower. Collect 3 of these flowers.

You cannot get Fiber as it is, you’ll have to craft the Fiber with Seaweed. You can find seaweed in the Beach Water or ponds. You’ll have to cast the line outside the fishing circles so, you don’t catch fish. You’ll catch seaweed when you cast out of the circles. You’ll need to catch at least 14 of seaweeds to graft 70x Fiber. 1x Seaweed is used to craft 5x Fiber so, if we do the math then you’ll need to get 14x Seaweed. In order to get the seaweed quicker, you probably want to have a character near you that’ll drop you more seaweed when you catch it while fishing.

After getting the Seaweed, go to any Crafting Station and go into the Refined Material category. Craft 70x Fiber to complete all of the resources for the items. Then you’d have to use all of these resources to craft the following items.

• 3x Rustic Wooden Case
• 3x Basket
• 4x Rope

Use the Crafting Station and go into the Furniture category. You’ll be able to craft Rustic Wooden Cases and Baskets from this category. For a Rustic Wooden Case, you’ll need 10 Softwoods and in order to make 3 Rustic Wooden Cases, you’ll be needing 30 Softwoods. Craft 3x Rustic Wooden Case from Softwoods you’ve collected. For a Basket, you’ll need 6 Fibers and 1 Pink Hydrangea. In order to make 3 Baskets, you’ll be needing 18 Fibers and 3 Pink Hydrangeas. Craft 3x Basket from Fibers and Pink Hydrangeas you’ve collected. For a Rope, you’ll need 8 Fibers and in order to make 4 Ropes, you’ll be needing 32 Fibers. Craft 4x Rope from Fiber you’ve collected.

After creating all the items, go to Moana and give all the items to her for fixing the Boat. After that, Moana’s Fishing Boat will be fixed and a Strange Glowing Shard will appear on the ground. Pick up the Shard and give it to Moana and then the quest will be ended.
