DREDGE – How to Get Materials for Boat

Published

on

Materials

The Materials are necessary for your boat in order to upgrade it. By upgrading the boat, you will be able to install more equipment on the boat which will make things easier for you. However, finding the materials are not that simple and it requires a main pursuit to be completed.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Get Materials for the Boat in DREDGE.

Getting Materials

To get the Materials, you will have to get the Dredge Crane installed on the boat. It can only be done by meeting and accepting the offer of an NPC named “Collector” who can be found on Blackstone Isle. Once you have accepted his offer to find the relics for him, he will install the Dredge Crane on your Boat. It will add the DREDGE category to Catchable Fish Types.

After that, you need to find the fishing spots where is no shadow of a fish in the water but the bubbles are still on the surface. These fishing spots are the Dredge spots from where you can find the materials for your boat to upgrade it. The materials that you can find in the game are the following.

  • Lumber
  • Metal Scraps
  • Bolt of Cloth
  • Sheet Metal
  • Refined Metal

When you reach the dredge spots, press the A Button to start pulling up the materials and it will start a mini-game. You will have to stay on the brown lines and when you are about to reach the gap, press the X Button again to go to the next brown line. You will have to keep changing the lines until the materials are out of the water. Once you have obtained the materials, store them in your Cargo and then go to the dock to store the materials in Storage.

Metal Scrap Material

The hardest materials to get in the game are Sheet Metal and Refined Metal because they are very rare and they can be found on the shores of different islands or they can only be bought from an NPC named “Travelling Merchant”.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
