In Elden Ring, there are different types of side bosses that can be found around the world. Some of the bosses are field bosses which can be encountered when accessing the specific Evergoal of the area. There are many Evergoals in Elden Ring and each of them has a boss that you can encounter and defeat to get good loot. Evergoal is basically like a boss arena which you have to enter first in order to fight the boss. In this guide, we’ll tell you how can you defeat one of the Evergoal’s bosses. The boss we want to guide you about is Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader.

Location of Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader

The Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader can be found at the Ringleader’s Evergoal which is in the Liurnia of the Lakes region. It is found at the Moonlight Altar site of grace, high above in the southwest Liurnia of the Lakes.

How to Defeat Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader

Alecto, Black Knife is an assassin and, in this fight, she will have some spells also with the basics attack. She has a carving attack on the ground that lasts a really long time you just got to roll really late for that and then she also has a leaping overhead like a helm splitter that is your golden opportunity to punish her because she’s very susceptible to backstabs after that attack it has a long recovery window so you can just jump right in there and hit her with some heavy attacks.

Now she will do AoE attacks also like she has one attack where she jumps towards you and slams into the ground and it does like an explosion. That attack can 1 shot kill you so you have to be very careful from that attack. If you saw her jumping towards you just roll out the way because if you try to dodge it, it would still give you a lot of damage because it’s an AoE attack. So, better move out the way and reposition yourself. Before she jumps toward you, her knife will glow red so you can know that she’s about to do the explosion attack.

The most annoying thing you’ll find in this fight is that she will constantly move and be aggressive so if you have a lock target on her then it can cause your camera to flip out. She also has a blood arc attack where she throws a wave from her knife so you just roll out the way because it deals great stun damage to you and she’ll follow up really easily.

One more attack that she has is a grab attack, she likes to grab you and groat you and it is also likely 1 shot to kill you. You can just roll back from that attack because in order to get caught you have to be right in her face. You can also interrupt her moves by hitting them out because she has very low poise.

One thing that you can do in this fight is if you have beaten Elemer of the Briar (boss) you can use his armor in this fight. His armor is very unique because it does nominal damage to enemies when you roll into them. So, if you have that armor on and you roll into her then this boss fight will come trivial and you can really bully her in some sort of way because rolling into her will cause disruption on any attack that she might do.

That would be all for her attack and you can roll up to her from behind whenever she does the long attacks and can deal great damage to her and whenever she’s close to you and about to perform an attack you can basically hit her out of the attack and stun her and hit her again with the heavy attack.
