Enshrouded: How to Get an Axe Early

Enshrouded - Get Axe Early

Surviving in an Enshrouded world filled with demons can be brutal if not equipped with any sort of weapon. As exploration and building certain structures at your base is a key aspect to survival, finding or crafting your first axe as soon as possible will let you deal with any demons who come in your path.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get an Axe early in Enshrouded.

How to Get an Axe Early in Enshrouded

There are two methods through which you can get your first axe as early as possible in Enshrouded. The first and the basic method is to find one in a hidden chest right at the beginning area of the game and the second method will require you to craft it yourself using the required materials.

For the first method, you need to enter the first cavern area on the left side of the starting area. Instead of going right, go straight on the path until you come across a blocked path. Pick up the bombs from the shelves on the side and throw a bomb on the blocked path to open it. It will reveal a room with a chest in which you will get a Level 1 Hatchet.

For the second method, you need to get out of the cavern area and reach the Longkeep location. Find the bushes and loot them to get Twigs and Fiber and search the area to find Wood and Stone. Gathering these materials will unlock the recipe for Axe.

Now, open the Crafting Menu by pressing the V button and craft a String. After that, select the Axe recipe and craft it using the following materials.

  • 4x Twigs
  • 1x Stone
  • 1x String

Out of both these methods, the fastest one is to find the Level 1 Hatchet, and not only that but the Hatchet is more efficient than the crafted Axe as it will let you kill the demons more easily as well as cut down trees or break wooden furniture around the world to gather wood easily.
