Fans outraged by the way Katrina is returning to Animal Crossing

Nintendo confirmed several announcements about the game this afternoon, and now we bring you the widespread reaction to a subtle detail that’s on its way to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Specifically, it’s the official return of Katrina, one of the game’s most beloved special characters. We’ve imagined in the past how she might return to the game, but it looks like her role won’t be quite what fans expected.

It seems that Katrina’s return is limited to a small icon in the Nooklink app where she will send us messages every day with some wise words. You can see it here:
