Farming Simulator 22: Trailers – can they be combined?

In Farming Simulator 22 you can connect several trailers with each other. This allows you to load more goods on them, and each trailer may have a different one. On this page, you can read how to combine trailers and which trailers can be combined.

You can combine trailers of a similar type – usually two-axle. General rules:

• The first trailer should be single-axle for easier steering, and the next two-axle.
• You can combine trailers of different brands.
• When combining longer sets, start linking from the last trailer for easier maneuvering.
• Two-axle trailers turn in line with the tractor’s turn, which is especially important when reversing, but they are much more sensitive to steering movements.
• In such trailers, you can keep various goods on each of the trailers.
• Remember that bands like this weigh a lot – especially when you fill them with goods. A light tractor may not be enough to transport them.
• Do not forget to choose the right trailer when unloading and position yourself appropriately at the unloading site. It is best to drop the goods sideways in this case – some trailers will not allow you to throw them back when others are connected. So it is worth making sure that the purchased tippers have the option of side unloading.

There is basically no limit of machines that you can connect with each other – but your tractor will quickly feel the extra ballast.
