Farming Simulator 22: Vehicle damage, what do they do, how to repair the machine?

When using tractors in Farming Simulator 22, they will automatically deteriorate over time. The current condition of the vehicle can be seen at the rev counter (orange bar with a wrench icon) or in the menu of vehicles you own – after entering the selected category, hover over the machine you are interested in to see its percentage of damage.

You can do the repair by going to the nearest point of the store and entering the designated special line. Then, approach the blue icon and interact with it – the game will then ask you if you want to repaint the tractor or if it can repair it for a specified amount.

Remember that the more damaged a machine is, the less horsepower it will generate. Therefore, do not be surprised if, after purchasing a tractor, he can handle a huge plow, and later in the game, he will have a problem with it: it will be a sign that you need to visit the mechanic as soon as possible.

If you have enough money, you can build a workshop on your farm, where you can modify the vehicle and repair it. It costs 45,000 euros, so it’s not a very large amount – the workshop will be useful to you more than once when you already have at least a few tractors.
