Farming Simulator 22: DLC Expansions
On this page, you will find information about the DLC extensions for Farming Simulator 22: what they include, known release dates, and information about availability in Season Passes.
Before the premiere of Farming Simulator 22, the developers announced the availability of DLC extensions. The first extension of the Precision Agriculture Project was initially planned for the first quarter of 2022. The DLC is to focus on the broadly understood optimization of agriculture. The extension is known from FS19, but in this release, it is to be slightly improved and affect the realism and improvement of changes in crop efficiency.
In addition, at the premiere, a Season Pass will be available, which will allow access to further expansions when they appear in the future. We can also expect sporadic free DLC as it was in the previous installment of the series. The first season pass (annual) will give you access to:
- Pack 1: Winter 2021/22
- Pack 2: Spring 2022
- Pack 3: Summer 2022
- Big DLC: End of 2022
The content of the first packs has not been directly disclosed. However, we know from the announcement that one of the first expansions will include the Precision Farming Project known from FS19 .
Precision Agriculture Project
The first DLC introduces a complex of changes affecting the little complexity and realism of the game. There are different types of soil. To check what our soil looks like, take samples and analyze them – you have to do it yourself, using appropriate equipment. The quality of the soil will slightly affect the amount of harvest. One square, as a rule, will consist of more than one species of land with the varying distribution. Sample analysis is payable.
The changes do not end there: each field has the right degree of fertilization (the amount of nitrogen in the soil) and a pH level that can be influenced by using lime. Due to the greater complexity and the need to focus on numerous details, the DLC has not been incorporated as a native part of the game.
