But from time to time there is another type of collectibles that is something for the nose among you: the treasure chests. Where can I find the current treasure chest (Season 2 – Week 1 – Summer)?

With each new season in Forza Horizon 5, there is a chance that a new treasure chest will be part of the weekly tasks. But before you have to roam all of Mexico on your own every time, we will rush to your aid at 300 km / h and show you where you can currently find what you are looking for.

The current treasure chest is bugged: In the current season you have to find a treasure chest again – but it seems to be bugged for most of the players at the moment.

An exact solution cannot currently be given. On Reddit, the community suspects that it’s about completing a trailblazer race with three stars. However, this should only lead to the desired result under certain circumstances, for example, if you complete a task with an untuned vehicle that you have not yet completed.

However, this did not work in our tests, even after completing a three-star trailblazer that we had never driven before.

What can I find in the treasure chests?

If you find a treasure chest, your virtual wallet will be happy. Because there are a bunch of credits as a reward. The reward day in the festival menu tells you how many. But you can assume that it is in the range of 50,000 credits.

How do I collect the treasure chests?

You have to get out of the car with F12 + CTRL and activate the walk mode – little fun. In a game that you can only experience inside your vehicle, collecting the treasure chests is correspondingly easy: Simply drive over the chest and enjoy the reward!

How can I find the treasure chests?

Treasure chests are a special event, so they are not always available in the game. You can check whether there is currently a chest by visiting the festival menu, where you will also find a list of other events and challenges.

Of course, you won’t get the exact position of the treasure chest. There are two useful tips from the game, for which you first need to have performed 10 PR stunts.

• The first tip: The challenge board shows you the rough position of the treasure chest on a picture – so take a careful look at the picture! Because already there you get a relatively good indication of the corner of the huge world in which the treasure chest could be, which can be used to narrow down the area to be searched.
• The second tip: As a further reward for the 10 PR stunts, a circular area in red appears on your map that also limits the location of the treasure chest.

The rest is then simply left to your nose.
