The world of Halo Infinite is divided into several regions, which is well marked on the map. Each territory is separated by an abyss, so you can’t explore all its corners immediately after unlocking the open world. You have to push the story forward to be able to go, for example, to the north or east.
The most important thing when exploring a region is taking over WBO checkpoints, which allow you to fast travel – even from region A to region B. If you liberate an enemy outpost in one territory, you will be able to return to this place whenever you want.
But how do you know which territory you are currently in? Go to the map and in the PC version of Halo Infinite, click the T button. A list of activities in the given regions will pop up – for example, the first one is “Blockage”.
Each area has a limited number of side activities and collectibles. The list at the bottom left of the screen shows how many objectives you have obtained so far. After moving to another part of the map, another one will appear, and in the case of an undiscovered region – the bar will completely disappear.
