It is hard to judge a car from the specifications for how it will run on the track especially, on the corners where you can make huge differences to winning the race. As cars cost a lot of money, Forza Motorsport has added a new feature of renting the car to test out your favorite cars without any cost.

How to Rent a Car in Forza Motorsport

The rent-a-car feature allows players to rent a car in some of the game modes including Free-Play, Featured-Multiplayer, and Rivals. Not every mode has this feature but mostly, players can test out the cars by renting them through the event selection screen. While selecting the event, it will take you to buy the appropriate cars for the event if you don’t have any and once you are on the Buy Cars menu, select the car you want to rent and you will get the Rent option beside the Buy option.

Firstly, the game will offer you to buy it but you can simply switch to Rent to rent the car and drive it throughout the event to test it out. However, there are restrictions on the rented car. The rented cars cannot be upgraded nor tuned and driving it will not gain you Car Experience points which are essential for leveling up the cars. So, whatever car you are renting, you will not be able to level it up which is fair because you don’t own the car yet to be able to earn CP for it.

Renting a car does give you the advantage of testing the vehicles for free and it is a great feature for players who want to test out a car for a certain type of track. Go to the events and select a certain type of event to rent a car for it and then test it to make up your mind whether you want to buy it or not.
