Gord: How to Increase Sanity

Gord is a dark-fantasy adventure-strategy game in which players would have to keep their tribe alive through the horrors of Slavic mythology. There are a number of mechanics that players need to keep an eye on for the survival of their tribe and one of the main is Sanity. Like many other horror games, Gord also has a Sanity Meter under each character that they need to keep high as possible. If Sanity goes lower, the character will start seeing unimaginable horrors that can hurt them.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Increase the Sanity in Gord.

How to Increase the Sanity in Gord

To keep the Sanity of the characters high, players need to consider two things. Light up the areas that they visit often and build a Meadery structure. Light helps the characters a lot to keep their mental health in control while hunting, exploring, or gathering resources. If characters stay out in dark places for long, their Sanity meter will go down quickly, and their mental health goes low which makes them go crazy. It is important to build the lights around your Gord where the characters mostly get the resources.

The Meadery structure is another great way to replenish the Sanity Meter of the characters. Players can make the Meadery structure with 150x Wood and 75x Reed. It is mainly used to produce Mead which will allow characters to restore their Mental Health by replenishing the Sanity Meter. However, Sanity Meter fills up slowly so, players should move over the characters to Meadery once in a while to have a full Sanity Meter before sending them out to explore or gather resources.

If characters stay at Meadery for too long, they will also level up their Sanity which will allow them to reduce their Sanity at a lower rate. So, after building several structures, gathering resources and food, order the characters to move to Meadery to maintain their Sanity and keep them safe from the horrors.
