Hogwarts Legacy – How to Enter the Gilded Perch Ruins

Players will get to solve various kinds of puzzles throughout the main story as well as the side/relationship quests. You will meet many different NPCs while progressing through the story and you can complete their questline as well for various rewards. Some of the quests will require you to solve puzzles to complete them. A side quest named “A Bird in the Hand” will require you to open the gate to the ruins known as “Gilded Perch” to find the Golden Snidgets.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to enter the Gilded Perch Ruins in Hogwarts Legacy.

Entering the Gilded Perch Ruins

The quest “A Bird in the Hand” will be given to you by an NPC named “Poppy Sweeting”. You will have to help her get the Golden Snidgets before the Poachers get them. As you complete her questline, you will get to a Ruins area where you will have to open the gate to the ruins by solving a puzzle.

You will see two pillars before the gate and some symbols on the wall. The same symbols can also be seen on the floor and you will have to rotate the pillars to shine the light on the required symbols to open the gate. At this point, you will have a Moonstone which will be the key item in opening the gate. You will have to place the Moonstone on the structure in the middle

To open the gate to the ruins, follow the following steps.

• Once you have placed the Moonstone, it will light up the pillars and two symbols will light up on the gate.
• You need to shine the pillars’ lights on the required symbols.
• Rotate one of the Pillars by using Accio and place it directly in front of the Sun Symbol.
• After that, rotate the other Pillar using Accio and place it directly in front of the other required Symbol.
• Once the light shine on the required symbols, the gate to the ruins will open.

You don’t have to shine the light on the rest of the symbols, just shine the light on the two symbols and you will be able to go inside the Gilded Perch Ruins to find the Golden Snidgets.
