Hogwarts Legacy – How to Get Flipendo Spell

As players progress through the main story of the game, they will get to unlock all different kinds of Assignments from different Professors. Each Professor will give you assignments relevant to their class and upon completing these assignments, you can unlock spells that are useful in combat as well as in the environment for completing puzzles. One of the useful spells that you can unlock is Flipendo by completing an assignment from Professor Garlick.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Flipendo Spell in Hogwarts Legacy.

Completing Professor Garlick’s Assignment 2

Professor Garlick is a teacher of Herbology Class and after completing the first assignment of Professor Garlick, you will unlock the second assignment from her after making some progress in the game. This assignment will be the same as the last one and you will have to do it on your own because the Field Guide will not assist you in the Assignment. The two tasks that you need to do to complete the assignment are the following.

1. Grow and Harvest Fluxweed.
2. Acquire all three Combat Plants and use them simultaneously.

This is the first time you will get to grow and harvest any plant in the game.

Acquiring and Using Combat Plants

The combat plants are of three types and they can be found at the shop named “Dogweed and Deathcap” in Hogsmeade Village. All three of them can be found under the section of Combat Tools when you browse the shop and they are the following.

1. Chinese Chomping Cabbage – 300 Gold
2. Mandrake – 500 Gold
3. Venomous Tentacula – 600 Gold

After getting the combat plants, you need to go outside and use them one after another. It will complete the one objective of your assignment.

Grow and Harvest Fluxweed

In order to grow Fluxweed, you will have to get Fluxweed Seeds from the Magic Neep Shop in Hogsmeade Village. The Fluxweed Seeds will cost you 350 Gold. After that, you need to get a Potting Table Spellcraft with Large Pot because Fluxweed only grows in Large Pots. If you already have one then you can go straight to Room of Requirement to plant the seeds but if not then you will have to go to Tomes and Scrolls Shop in Hogsmeade to buy Potting Table with Large Pot. It will cost you 1,000 Gold.

After getting all the required items, you need to go to the Room of Requirement and conjure the Potting Table with Large Pot and then interact with it to plant Fluxweed Seed. Now, you will have to wait for 15 Minutes to harvest it. Come back after 15 minutes to harvest fluxweed and you will get 5 Fluxweed Stems. s

Getting Flipendo Spell

After completing both tasks of the assignment, you will have to go and talk with Professor Garlick. Go to the Greenhouses area to talk with Professor Garlick and she will teach you the new spell Flipendo. After learning it, you will unlock it and you will be able to flip the objects and enemies by using it on them.
